KYGO Cloud Nine

Having become the fastest artist in history to reach one billion streams in 2015, this year is shaping up to be even bigger for Kyrre Gørvell Dahl, aka KYGO, as he reveals the details behind his debut studio album, CLOUD NINE, which is available for pre-order now ahead of its release on May 13 through Ultra Music/Sony Music Entertainment Australia.

First teased to his fans back in February after 18 months in the works, in addition to the release date the Norwegian sensation has also shared the exclusive album artwork designed by Mr. Brainwash, and his brand new track -Fragile' featuring Labrinth.

Those who pre-order CLOUD NINE on iTunes will instantly receive -Fragile'. Unmistakably his most ambitious effort to date, -Fragile' has Kygo pushing his musical boundaries further than ever before, stripping back things to 75 bpm and crafting a rousing ballad around Labrinth's stunning vocals. -Fragile' was first performed live last week on Norwegian TV show, -Senkfeld', to a stunning reaction online.

Having topped seven million record sales globally since the release of -Firestone' back in 2014, Kygo has amassed a who's who list of collaborators to join him for what is one of the most anticipated albums of 2016, and with Labrinth the next name out of the bag, expectations will grow once more as to who is next to join Kygo on CLOUD NINE.

'I am so excited to announce the final details of my debut studio album, CLOUD NINE. I've been working on it nonstop over the last 18 months and have been lucky enough to work with some incredibly talented artists along the way. I'm really looking forward to showing everyone the result this May and being able to finally get the music out to my fans, who give me the best support in the world!"

In addition to the release of his first long player, Kygo will be embarking on a European leg of his CLOUD NINE TOUR this March. The European stops follow on from a wildly successful US tour, in which the Bergen-native headlined some of the most respected venues in the country such as The Greek Theater in Los Angeles and Barclays Center in New York. Kicking off in Holland just after his headlining set at Ultra Music Festival this weekend, the CLOUD NINE TOUR will see the burgeoning superstar also play Germany, Belgium, Italy, France and the UK amongst many more.
