Pop Tarts vs Pop Idols

While the nation goes crazy overy two pop idols, female pop artists are continuing to forge independent careers and showcase their stuff at PopTarts every Monday.

Monday November 17 will see Amanda Easton, Kylie Memory, Jodi Martin, Inspiral and Sophie Serafino strutt their original pop stuff on PopTarts stage at Annandale's Empire Hotel.

PopTarts was started two years ago to provide a stage for independent female-fronted bands and grrl singer-songwriters in a boy-rock dominated pub scene.

Two years later, it's still going strong and has showcased female artists from all around Australia and internationally. Entry is free to the night which starts at 8pm. PopTarts will be on at Annandale's newly refurbished Empire Hotel every Monday in March.
