Ladyshark Good Stuff

Ladyshark Good Stuff

Surf rock three piece, Ladyshark, is back with their third studio album dropping Monday, June 22nd. Their first album was a rock epic, followed by their sophomore album, "Lovesick." In this third record, Ladyshark combines the original punk attitude from their first album, with their more recent obsession with compassion and community, in this political album with good vibes. As the title track states, "It's much better when we treat each other with love. Give me some of that good stuff!"

Bassist Raygun says, "We've all been feeling the pressure of the world while making this last record. Sarah has taken the frustration and helplessness that many of us are experiencing right now and just turned the mic around. She's saying back to us what we scream into the ether and think no one hears. We have to do better and that starts with being better people, better neighbors."

Based out of New York, with Covid-19 bringing uncertainty to the live music scene everywhere, Ladyshark will not be doing a live tour for this album. However, with the advent of apps like Zoom to host virtual shows, lead singer and guitarist, Sarah Vardy, says there is hope for a virtual tour.
