In the wake of the May 5 release of its -call the police'/ -american dream' single and May 6 Saturday Night Live performance of those songs, and having sold out its latest seven-night residency at Brooklyn Steel in 10 minutes, LCD Soundsystem have now confirmed details of its long awaited fourth album and accompanying world tour.

LCD Soundsystem have also announced dates of an extensive world tour, bookended by encore residencies at Brooklyn Steel: a seven-performance run spanning June 16-24 currently underway and a ten-show homecoming taking place over December 11-23. In the intervening months, LCD Soundsystem will circle the globe, playing Australia in July at Splendour in the Grass as well as shows in Sydney and Melbourne, before undertaking shows at arenas, theatres and festivals worldwide"including previously announced headline appearances at Pitchfork, Forecastle, Voodoo Music + Arts Experience.
