Lemon Spaghetti, also known as Linguine al Limone has become popular in southern Italy, and it's very easy to make, so it's no surprise that this meal is finding it's way all around the world.  With only 3 main ingredients, it's great especially if you're running low on food in your fridge, if you don't feel like cooking, or if you're craving something refreshing, Linguine al Limone is the recipe for you.

 

Linguine al Limone

Serves: 4

Ingredients :

450g fresh spaghetti

¾ cup heavy cream

1 lemon

Freshly ground black pepper to taste

Salt to taste

 

Method:

  1. Firstly Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil  and add your spaghetti. Cook until ready.
  2. Secondly add ¾ cup heavy cream onto a pan with a pinch of salt, peper and squeeze a fresh lemon in. Cook for a little while and then add your spaghetti onto the pan
  3. Add some lemon zest and grated cheese. We used parmesan, but you can use any you prefer.
  4. Lastly serve your dish onto a plate, add some lemon zest on top, a few basil leaves and pepper to finish your dish off.

 

 And that's it. A quick and easy way to cook like an Italian at home.
