Lola Berry Creates First 100% Vegan Burger for Grill'd

This June, Grill'd Healthy Burgers will roll out a new menu across the country which will further cater to various dietary food tribes, expanding options for gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, lowcarb, paleo and other diets. New menu items, including -The Good Schnitzel' range of chicken schnitzel burgers using RSPCA Approved chicken, will also become available across all restaurants.

To broaden vegetarian and vegan options, Grill'd has once again teamed up with nutritionist Lola Berry, whose Veggie Vitality burger will be added to the Loved by Lola collection in June. The burger will consist of a vegan beetroot, sweet potato, spinach and quinoa patty topped with avocado, pineapple, carrot and cos lettuce, and will be available to order with all bun types, including gluten free options.

The popular Garden Goodness burger will also be revamped with a new gluten free, vegan patty. Lola states 'Grill'd's philosophy aligns with my own, which is based on the idea that healthy food and delicious food can go hand in hand.

'With the introduction of burgers like Veggie Vitality, the new menu shows how Grill'd is committed to providing truly nutritious, wholesome and satisfying meals for everyone that have a nutritional value even your mum would be proud of."

In addition, dietary icons will be posted throughout the new menu to denote which items are friendly for particular dietary requirements. The entire ordering experience will be more transparent to make it easier for customers adhering to certain diets.

Grill'd founder Simon Crowe explains, 'Our recent research review, which shows 2.3 million Australians identify with a specific food tribe at any given time, inspired us to launch this menu nationally.1 Between the founding paddock-to-plate values of Grill'd and the ever increasing number of Australians who now identify with a food tribe, we are more devoted than ever to creating a menu that offers a tasty and healthy meal for every customer who walks into one of our restaurants."

To further cater to the food tribes, the national roll out of -The Good Schnitzel' range of chicken schnitzel burgers will feature a newly developed gluten free, artisan crumb for the black and golden crumb schnitzels and Grill'd will only use chicken breasts from RSPCA Approved chickens.

Furthermore, the range of smaller, super slider burgers will be relaunched with new recipes. Grill'd will also unveil a new lamb burger called Shepherd's Delight, a flavourful combination of Dijon mustard, shaved parmesan cheese, cabbage slaw and egg mayo with a 100% grass fed, free range lamb patty.

The new menu further expands Grill'd's offering to cater for all dietary and lifestyle tribes, however rest assured customers will still be able to order their classic favourites just the way they like it. For the complete new menu, check back on the Grill'd website or visit your local Grill'd in June.
