Partnering with his young protege Ruel, multi award-winning Australian producer/songwriter M-Phazes returns with his latest single -Golden Years.' Featuring a smouldering vocal performance from Ruel (backed by an LA gospel choir), the beautiful production and string laden drop lifts the song into the stratosphere. This track marks the second cut off his highly anticipated upcoming album project and follows his 2016 monster comeback, -Messiah,' a collaboration with Alison Wonderland which has accumulated over 3 million Spotify streams. Ruel was discovered by M-Phazes when he was just 12 years old, after Ruel's father sent him a demo, not expecting to hear back. In development for the past two years under the wing of the prolific producer, Ruel co-wrote -Golden Years' with M-Phazes' long-time collaborator Thief. Set to be one of Australia's brightest rising stars, Ruel just completed a support slot with alternative R&B artist Gallant, with a debut EP executive produced by M-Phazes due later this year.
Landing a major placement on Eminem's -The Marshall Mathers LP 2' in 2013, M-Phazes has become an unstoppable force. Producing & writing for the likes of Amy Shark (Adore), Zara Larrson (What They Say), and Meg Mac (Never Be), he has since scooped up a Grammy Award, Billboard Award, 4x Aria Awards, 2x Apra Awards, 4x platinum plaque for -MMLP2' and a 3x platinum plaque for Illy's smash hit single -Papercuts'.
