The Flying Saucer Club is excited to welcome Madder Lake this August. The band will be performing their hit album 'Stillpoint' in its entirety as well as tracks from their critically acclaimed follow up album 'Butterfly Farm' and the recent 2015 album 'World' which featured guest appearances from Mike Rudd (Spectrum/Ariel) and Neale Johns (Blackfeather).
Forming in Melbourne in 1968, Madder Lake were one of the first bands signed to the Michael Gudinski co-owned Mushroom Records which released their debut single, -Goodbye Lollipop' in February 1973, followed by the album -Stillpoint' in August, featuring their most recognisable single,-12lb Toothbrush'. The release gave Mushroom their first Gold Album and peaked at number 13 on the Australian Album Charts in the same year.
