MTV BEATS AND EATS Festival

After early-bird tickets sold out in record time, MTV Australia has today revealed the first five names to join the epic line-up for this year's festival.
 
Fresh from sets at Secret Garden Festival and Vivid Sydney, DJ, MTV News host and Radio Presenter FlexMami will open the show with her custom blended beats.

Kiwi Indie dance and electronic duo SACHI, will hit the decks with a set designed to get the party started. The duo, who first met in primary school, have gone on to release and record club hits including Shelter featuring one half of Kiwi duo BROODS.
 
Sydney's own Nicole Millar will take to the stage with her unique combination of killer vocals and electro pop sensibility that has seen her collaborate with artists like Peking Duk, What So Not and Golden Features.

Global chart smashers Yolanda Be Cool are also down to bring their dance-friendly tracks like mega hits We No Speak Americano, Le Bump and Sugar Man to the Wollongong crowd providing the perfect soundtrack for a sunny day by the beach.  

Australian hip hop sensation Tkay Maidza, rounds out our first line-up announcement bringing her super distinctive music style to MTV's Beats & Eats. Collaborating with artists like Troye Sivan and Hilltop Hoods, Maidza is no stranger to the Australian festival circuit having played Splendour In The Grass, Stereosonic, Meredith, Falls and Grooving In The Moo.
