Mardi Gras Party Declares Its Love
On 3rd March Sydney will be all music, dance, sweat and love. Mardi Gras 2007 - 'Objects of Love' will stop the city for a few crazy hours of sequins, muscle, satire and bucketfuls of love.
That?s just the beginning. This year?s Party promises to be the most exciting in years. For 12 hours, across 7 diverse venues, over 16,000 local and international party people will help bring Mardi Gras 2007 to a spectacular close.
Only at Mardi Gras! That?s the key principle embraced by our party crew. They?ll be providing a mix of entertainment that you could never imagine seeing anywhere else in the world. From Boy George to the Young Divas and from Katie Noonan to The Presets. Not to mention the very best of Australian DJ talent. Our theme this year is 'Objects of Love' and we?ve picked out just a couple of things that Mardi Gras loves and made them our motifs.
In the Royal Hall of Industries, we?re declaring our love for a Sunburnt Country. In the Hordern Pavillion we look beyond our shores - we love the Journey. In the Forum we explore our passion for Lycra whilst in the Dome we show you why we?re suckers for Sensation.
