Midnight Shimmer is a rich, w oody fragrance destined to illuminate your evening with an addictive blend of soft musk, jasmine petals and sensual vanilla.

Bathed in starlight, the fragrance opens with the succulent sparkle of Quince and highlighted with the fresh dew of Freesia and lush Jasmine Petals. The near-black Vanilla Bean reveals a velvety sensuality. The dry down intrigues with Moss and Peru Balsam touched by a hint of Musk.

 

Inspired by the Michael Kors Collection woman, the Midnight Shimmer bottle reflects the elegance and mystery of the night sky. The bottle is midnight blue and gold-toned, with iridescent gold glitter and a bold embossed metallic gold Michael Kors logo that perfectly captures the gilded scent.

Question: How did the midnight hour inspire this fragrance?

Michael Kors: I think there's something a little magical about midnight"it's mysterious and sort of intoxicating, and we wanted to capture that spirit of seductive glamour in our fragrance.


Question: Why were the colors midnight blue and gold chosen to represent this fragrance? What relationship does this color combination have with your fashion line?

Michael Kors: Everyone knows I'm no stranger to gold. It's very much a part of who I am as a designer. The bottle is meant to reflect a night sky with the deep blue hue and iridescent gold glitter, and the glamorous gold cap is signature Michael Kors.

Question: Explain the perfect occasion where a woman would wear this fragrance. What would she wear?

Michael Kors: With addictive notes of musk, jasmine and vanilla, Midnight Shimmer is the perfect finishing touch for a romantic night out. Wear it with a sexy silhouette that shines.


Question: What feelings do the gourmand ingredients evoke?

Michael Kors: The quince, freesia and jasmine provide a sparkling opening note, then you have this velvety, sensual vanilla bean scent topped with muskier notes of moss and Peru balsam"the blend is captivating and sexy.
