To celebrate the DVD release of Hi-5 Dance Hits Volume 3, Channel 9 Mornings With Kerri-Anne recently launched a national competition searching for Australia?s very own mini Hi-5ers. The five lucky winners will be taught dance moves by the Hi-5 choreographer and perform a live routine on the show with the cast of Hi-5 later on in the year.

Ten year old Brenton Bell of Mermaid Waters, Queensland has been selected as mini Tim. Nine year old Courtney Dormer of Langwarrin, Victoria has been selected as mini Charli. Eleven year old Abby Marchwicki of Elanora, Queensland has been selected as mini Kellie. Seven year old Cameron Wilcox of Menai of New South Wales has been selected as mini Nathan. Five year old Alicia Wong of Menai, New South Wales has been selected as mini Kathleen.

The winning footage will be shown on Channel 9 Mornings With Kerri-Anne on May 9 2006 and as part of the prize, the five winners will appear on the show for their crowning appearance on May 16 2006. Australia?s mini Hi-5ers will return to Channel 9 Mornings With Kerri-Anne for their prized performance with Hi-5 later on in July 2006.
