One of Japan's biggest and most successful real estate and retail property developers, Mitsui Fudosan has developed and managed 12 outlet malls in Japan as well as an outlet mall in Ningbo, China. The new Mitsui Outlet Park in Kuala Lumpur is set to become South East Asia's flagship mall, developed and adapted to Malaysian customs based on Mitsui Fudosan's extensive know-how. Set to expand to 44,000 square metres in 2018, it on track to becoming the largest outlet mall in Southeast Asia, including Mitsui's other outlet malls in Japan.
