Felix, an aspiring stand-up comedian, has his show invaded by his overbearing mother!

Of course, she refuses to leave the stage, so he has no choice but to continue the show as mother and son. What could possibly go wrong?

The show explores intergenerational angst and the relationship between mother and son through sketch comedy depictions of learning to drive, musical theatre and a return to the original birthing experience.

What choice did Felix have but to hand his mother the stage – he needed a lift home after all!

Taking audience heckling to new heights, Son of a Bitch is one of the more surprising offerings of this year's MICF and features an actual mother and son going through the oddly meta task of putting together a show about… a mother and son!
