New Year's Resolution Tips For Healthy Eating


Leading Australian chef, Grant Croft, has worked all over the world including in Brazil and at a seven star restaurant in the Middle East.


He has cooked some of the most elaborate meals possible, but here he gives 5 basic tips on healthy eating to help people with any New Year's resolution around diet:

Don't overdo protein. People should only have 20g of protein per day.
Keep away from white flour and sugars. Try and use organic or natural flour.
Grain steaks don't digest well. Try and have milk fed or pasture fed steaks.
Know what you are eating and what you are putting into your body. Watch your portion size and give your body time to digest before going for seconds.
Replace your comfort foods with low carbohydrate alternatives eg/ swap mash potato with mashed cauliflower

"It's a great time to make some changes to your eating habits. If you follow these simple tips, you'll definitely be eating more healthily and it will be a great kick start if you have weight loss goal for 2015", said Grant Croft.
