PRVNA Fever Interview

Interview with PRVNA

Question: How would you describe your music?

PRVNA: Neo soul meets South London groove.

Question: What inspired the track Fever?

PRVNA: Remembering dating dangerous boys and wanting to celebrate the melodrama of that!

Question: Which is your favourite song to perform live and why?

PRVNA: Redbone by Childish Gambino because I feel like I get transported into the magic of Gambino.

Question: If you could have anyone, in the world, attend a show, who would it be?

PRVNA: Rihanna - because she looks like fun.

Question: Do you prefer performing live or recording?

PRVNA: Live, always; recording is so frustrating.

Question: What motivates you most when writing music?

PRVNA: The need to get things off my chest, music is my therapy and it allows me to always have perspective of where I have been and where I am now.

Question: Which music/artists are you currently listening to?

PRVNA: Octavian, Oshun, Rosie Lowe and Two Another.

Question: What or who was your inspiration to go into the music industry?

PRVNA: I guess I always wanted to sing I just didn't have the guts to do it for a long time. I was inspired by how empty I felt without music and how I knew I couldn't carry on not trying to reach for my dreams.

Question: If you could collaborate with another artist, who would it be?

PRVNA: J Cole.

Question: What is the biggest challenge you have faced along the way to your musical success?

PRVNA: The burnout - doing music with a day job and a partner and trying to fit in my family/friends. Every single month is planned and sometimes i miss the spontaneity.

Question: What has been your favourite part of becoming a music artist?

PRVNA: Making myself proud and making my family proud, also getting out the stuff that's inside of my head!

Question: Can you share your socials?

PRVNA: @prvna_musiq/
