Quoridor Kid wins "Best Children's Game 2008"
Quoridor Kid, a beautifully crafted timber board game for ages 6+ has been awarded Boardgames Australia's Best Children's Game Award for 2008.
Quoridor Kid was selected from a shortlist of seven games including: Cogno, Bingory; The Black Pirate; Codebreaker; Alienre Adventure; Froggy Boogie; Gumball Rally and; Quoridor Kid.
Designed to entertain 2-4 players aged 6 & up, Quoridor Kid is a game of mice and mazes that has children scurrying their mice to the opposite side of the playing board. It is not a simple task, with each player moving their mouse one square at a time, or installing "blockers" in the maze to hinder their opponents progress across the board. The components are great, and the mouse/maze theme provides a fun game for all ages.
The game is distributed exclusively in Australia by Funatical www.funatical.com.au, the Brisbane-based, national games distributer recognised for their exciting array of more than 350 educational games and puzzles, offered through specialty games retailers and gift stores.
