Attention fair maidens and noble gentlemen, the award winning St Ives Medieval Faire is back for another year!
Come one, come all to experience the medieval magic as this September, the St Ives Showground transforms into a living medieval kingdom– a true spectacle of medieval drama, entertainment, food and life! There's even a medieval feast to officially open the Faire!
Proudly presented by Ku-ring-gai Council, the Faire takes place the first weekend of the September school holidays from Saturday 23rd September – Sunday 24th September 2017.
Be transported back in time to the Dark Ages through to the High Middle Ages to experience the exhilarating joust, full-armoured warriors battling, a life-size giant catapult called a trebuchet firing projectiles hundreds of metres into the air, and real-life birds of prey – all included in your ticket price!
Then lose yourself in the medieval village full of medieval wares plus delicious medieval food and drink at the medieval tavern.
This year the Faire will host the inaugural World Jousting Championship which will see the world's very best knights from across the globe tempt fate in a 15th century solid lance tournament. As the new must-watch extreme sport, there is no match for experiencing the thrill of the joust live in action!
For the foodies, you can start your medieval journey early on Friday 22nd September with the traditional Medieval Feast in a grand feasting hall. Join our King and Queen while jesters and musicians play for your delight.
The Faire will run over the whole weekend, with two-day and family discount tickets available – come along and immerse yourself in this amazing time period
