Steggles top three turkey tips:
Allow enough time! With frozen turkeys one of the most common mistakes people make is not allowing enough time for defrosting. And don?t forget to find out how long you should cook the turkey for - larger turkeys can take around four hours or more to cook.
Get the right sized turkey. Just tell the hotline staff how many people you need to feed and they?ll be able to tell you what size turkey you should buy.
Always handle poultry properly. After contact with poultry wash hands and all kitchen utensils thoroughly and always ensure the turkey is properly cooked - the hotline can provide you with a number of ways to check this.
