The Sydney Morning Herald NSW Food and Wine Festival's signature event, Sydney Cellar Door, returns to the city this weekend bringing wineries, tastings, fabulous food and free entertainment to Hyde Park.
Kicking off on Friday afternoon and running through to Sunday, the event celebrates the state's best food and wine. Featuring 70 wineries from nine different regions, as well as some of NSW's most celebrated food venues, the event is a -must-visit' for foodies and wine lovers.
Festival-goers can rub shoulders with winemakers from award winning wineries and sample the best drops from the likes of Hungerford Hill, Logan, Ross Hill and Cherry Tree Hill.
And with a firm focus on the perfect pairing, this year's festival features food from the likes of Nomad, Porteño/Bodega, Salt Meats Cheese, Gelato Messina and -Regional Restaurant of the Year', Biota Dining. The Mudgee Region Tourism will bring the best of central western NSW to Hyde Park and Taste Orange will host a pop-up polo club.
The weekend-long celebration will be topped off by live music performanaces from the likes of seven piece band Martini Club, Nick Kingswell from The Voice and soul masters Cavan Te and the Fuss.
