South East Queensland's largest foodie celebration, Tastes of Moreton Bay Feastival is back and bigger than ever.
Over six weeks (19 August- 25 September 2022), Moreton Bay's tastemakers and producers will serve up more than 40 unique events, dining experiences, masterclasses and tours.
Working in partnership with the region's restaurants, cafes, bars, tour operators, chefs, and local producers, the Tastes of Moreton Bay Feastival will take connoisseurs on a culinary journey from the farms to the bay, and everywhere in between.
Moreton Bay Regional Council Mayor, Cr Peter Flannery, said the Feastival is an opportunity for the region to showcase its amazing talent and remarkable produce.
"Our subtropical climate offers a bounty of products from pineapples and raspberries to shellfish and beef," Cr Flannery said.
Visit Moreton Bay Region CEO, Shane Newcombe, said the who's who of Australia's celebrity chefs will be cooking up a storm at the Feastival.
"In addition to Alastair, Adriano Zumbo, Georgia Barnes, Dominique Rizzo, Manu Fieldel and Miguel Maestre will be making tastebuds water.
"Over six-weeks, Moreton Bay's finest producers, restaurateurs and tour operators will also deliver amazing experiences including the Samford Harvest, Sunset Brewery Cruise, Vines & Hops Tour, Jazz by Candlelight and the Bribie Seafood Boll to name a few.
Ambassador and proud Moreton Bay local, Alastair McLeod, said the world-famous Moreton Bay Food + Wine Festival will kick start the six-week Tastes of Moreton Bay Feastival.
"Foodies should get their tastebuds ready to eat, drink, enjoy and repeat," Mr McLeod said.
"Over five delicious weeks, food lovers can soak up the winter sunshine of Moreton Bay and sample Australia's best food."
