Sassy, cheeky coastal country is what singer-songwriter Taylor Moss is all about, and it's paying dividends with her latest single, Ain't No Girly Girl.
The Sunshine Coast pop-country artist released the single on November 20, and has been racking up the streams on Spotify with inclusion on debut on the Fresh Country playlist.
Although 2020 was a challenging year for everyone in the music industry, it finished on a huge high for Taylor as she is the featured artist on the playlist as the cover star for two consecutive weeks, with Ain't No Girly Girl sitting in the No. 2 position on the playlist. She's in good company, sitting pretty between Morgan Wallen at No. 1 and Luke Combs in No. 3 position.
The track has more than 220,000 streams and is also included on the Apple Music Aussie Country playlist, and has been picked up by KIX Country, iHeart Country and CMT for regular airplay. It also debuted at No. 4 on the iTunes All Genres Songs chart.
In more great news for the talented Queensland artist, a quarter of all her Spotify streams come from the USA, highlighting the international appeal of Taylor's brand of country.
This year will see Taylor performing live as much as possible, with her new kickass band, and a follow-up single to come titled, You Ain't Getting A Song, also produced by the award-winning Stuart Stuart.
Taylor is not an artist to be put into a box, and her style of coastal country with her sass and tell-it-like-it-is attitude, she's sure to be turning plenty more heads in the music scene for years to come.
