Celebrate International Women's Day 2016 with Melbourne Playback Theatre and special guests in an evening of storytelling, music, and theatre.
This one-night event combines theatre and discussion with a Q&A panel featuring prominent feminists, and an interactive Melbourne Playback Theatre performance.
The evening will commence with the panel discussing their journey as feminists, what feminism means to them now, and will be followed by an interactive Q&A. Then the discussion will be launched from the mind, to the heart and the body in a unique Melbourne Playback Theatre performance.
Stories and experiences from the audience (inspired by the evening's discussions) are invited to be shared, and these stories will then be turned into theatre by a team of highly skilled actors and musicians.
Melbourne Playback Theatre's ensemble of professional actors, musicians and MCs have been captivating audiences for over 30 years with their unique form of improvised theatre, transforming real-life events into powerful and engaging stories on the stage.
