The Kut get Snapped up for UK TV Stations
Criminal Records all girl rockers are to have their new music video featured on the playlist for Tuune (Propeller TV), Sub TV and in Scream Pubs following their sold out UK Tour. Tuune TV viewers enjoy a good mix of new and well known acts including Foo Fighters, Radiohead and Moby, who feature back to back with newer emerging acts. This means not only are the girls up on Sky, Freesat and Movieola via Tuune TV, but they are also playing out in all the Student Unions serviced by Sub TV, as well as the Scream chain of pubs. Their recent Love Hate Vampire Shotgun System Circus Tour was sold out across the UK and upcoming concerts now include a Headline Show at Propaganda, the UK's biggest indie night, and stage to acts including Kings of Leon, Razorlight and Funeral Party, held at Moho Live, Manchester. Sub TV also support the band throughout their UK tour, after attending the bands first sold out show at the Garage, London.
Talking about the playlist for Propeller TV this morning, Maha mentioned "It's pretty surreal because I was just watching the Foo Fighters on the show, then logged in to facebook and my mate Steevo had posted a photo of himself with Dave Grohl. Ha he met the whole of Foo Fighters on the Eurostar yesterday! It looked like a new band photo - my mate Steevo is an awesome bass player and plays in Les Figurines, I think they should hook up!"
Formed in New Cross, London by lead guitarist, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, Maha, the girls mix rock riffs and solos, with solid bass, drums and contagious vocals, mixing a range of styles including rock, indie and breakbeat, to produce their grunge infected basement rock sound.
MD at Criminal said, "Although the girls only have a few tracks recorded right now, it's the live show that is making them. I think it's a case of once people realise how good they are live, that's where they are gaining new fans? we just hope that all this extra attention isn't going to distract them from finishing the album"
