The Red Rose Dress

A stunning bespoke couture gown consisting of nearly 400 hand-sculpted paper roses is on display at the premier shopping destination on Sydney's North Shore, Chatswood Chase Sydney, until 30th November 2016.

Entitled The Red Rose Dress, the new work is by acclaimed UK paper artist Zoe Bradley and has been exclusively commissioned by Chatswood Chase Sydney in celebration of their Spring and Summer fashion season.

The gown is the culmination of an astonishing 100 hours of handmade work including 392 paper roses and 12,152 curled petals. No stranger to such feats, Bradley is renowned for her larger than life sculptural dresses that have been exhibited worldwide.

Standing an impressive three and a half metres tall by four metres long, The Red Rose Dress creates the illusion of silk thanks to the luminous quality of the red paper utilised for the roses.

John Klein, Marketing Manager of Chatswood Chase Sydney said, 'We are delighted to showcase the work of such a talented international artist in Sydney for the very first time."
