The Script The Acoustic Sessions

Irish band The Script have today released their EP, The Acoustic Sessions via Sony Music Entertainment Australia. The EP features No Man Is An Island (taken from the album Freedom Child), Never Seen Anything (Quite Like You) (taken from the album No Sound Without Silence, The Man Who Can't Be Moved (taken from the album The Script) and a live cover of the track -Crazy World' featuring guest appearance from original composer, Christy Dignam. The release of this latest EP perfectly coincides with The Script's Australian leg of the Freedom Child Tour, which kicks off tomorrow night in Melbourne with additional headline shows also scheduled for Sydney and Brisbane. The Script will share the music from their latest ARIA Top Five album, Freedom Child, and will entertain the Australian audience with all of their classic hits. Whilst on the road presenting their Freedom Child Tour, the band have been playing a handful of acoustic tracks from a b-stage in the centre of the crowd. Incredibly, The Script marked St Patrick's Day this year with the release of Crazy World featuring Christy Dignam. The song was recorded live during the second night of their sold out run at Dublin's 3Arena when the band were joined on stage by Christy for a surprise duet. Watch the performance HERE.
 
The Script released their latest album Freedom Child in September 2017. The record itself sees the band presenting a collection of urgent, timely, future-facing anthems that speak of both real-life events and real-time sonic adventurism.
