Powerhouse duo, Stacey June and Kristie Mercer of The Thinkergirls are heading on tour, with their live panel dream-team and #TGPOSSE in tow. Nothing is off the table, with four wild-but-wonderful evenings, of informative discussions, taboo topics, a whole lot of LOLs, and a live performance by the one and only Kirstie Mercer.
Audiences in Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney will have the opportunity to step into the world of The Thinkergirls. The real-life-besties will be dishing out hot tips and tricks, healthy perspectives, and spreading all the good endorphins, whilst discussing many of life's FAQs, like – why do we get the Sunday sads? Where does the stigma from miscarriage come from? Why was anxiety born in the 90's? And what's the best way to be told someone isn't that into you?
Discussions and guest speakers will change each night, but you can expect celebrity-friends-with-actual-benefits such as Gretel Kileen, Lola Berry, Georgia Love, Michala Banas, Those Two Girls (Sarah and Lise), and many more fine ladies joining June and Mercer on the panel for all of the shenanigans.
Stacey June says, "it's been a big year of challenges for us at The Thinkergirls camp this year, but we don't hide that. We are so excited to finish the year off with a bang - having honest conversations about the good, the surprising and the heart breaking. Just like a wine with girlfriends - nothing is ever off limits with us."
June and Mercer were the first to hit the podcasting world in Australia in 2012. After millions of downloads, some of the most successful female-podcasts published, and the building of their huge, devoted following #TGPOSSE, the girls have finished up their commercial radio gig, and launched their very own channel - The Thinkergirls Pod Channel. Dropping four podcasts a week!
No strangers to the broadcast world, the girls hosted their own national radio show on KIIS FM for two years, with a weekly spot on the Kyle and Jackie O show, they were also favourites to cover for big rigs like Hughesy and Kate.
They continue to give their millennial take on every-day pop culture and topical news stories, weekly on Channel 7's Sunrise, with regular guest appearances on Channel 10's The Project and The Morning Show. Their written-work has also been featured on platforms such as news.com.au, Ten Daily, whim.com.au, Junkee and Mamamia, to name a few.
As successful and busy as these girls may seem, they just wanna have fun. And help a few sisters out along the way.
The Thinkergirls on Tour will be an informative, hilarious and damn-fun night – grab a ticket for a sister or Mr now.
