The Vanilla Kitchen

Pepsi Max is launching an exciting new pop-up dining concept in Sydney this June, to celebrate the release of its new vanilla flavour, with the help of some of the country's most creative food and drink talent.

The Vanilla Kitchen will open for three days, from 22-24 June in Chippendale, Sydney. Designed by Mitch Orr (ACME), Jimmy Hurlston (Guilty, Easey's), Andy Bowdy (Andy Bowdy Pastry, Saga) and Andres Walters (The Lobo Plantation, The Kittyhawke), and brought to you by the team at The Vanilla Kitchen, the pop-up will offer visitors the ultimate culinary journey.

With the talent known for their unconventional and trailblazing cuisine, the menu has been specially designed to push the limits of vanilla, seeking inspiration from Pepsi Max's newest flavour variant, Pepsi Max Vanilla.

The team have worked their gastronomic magic on designing a top secret three course menu, exclusively for The Vanilla Kitchen, which recreates classics in ingenious ways, alongside Andre's mixology creations, which complement each plate perfectly, sending taste buds into overdrive.

Visitors will be met with unexpected surprises at every stage of their flavour journey, with The Old Rum Store on Kensington Street magically transformed into an immersive dining environment, which is anything but vanilla.

To allow people to enjoy this deliciousness in the comfort of their own home, The Vanilla Kitchen has also partnered with Australia's favourite food delivery service, Deliveroo, who will be delivering meals together with free samples of Pepsi Max Vanilla during the three day event.

Pepsi Max Vanilla, which launched in February 2017, has proven a popular addition to the Pepsi Max family, offering Australians a twist on the country's leading no sugar cola product. This is Pepsi Max's inaugural pop-up dining event in Australia, which the brand believes will prove popular with consumers who already love the flavour, and those who are yet to try it.

According to Brad Van Dijk, PepsiCo Senior Director ANZ Beverages, The Vanilla Kitchen has been designed to surprise and delight consumers who are seeking a new and exciting dining experience:

'We wanted to celebrate the success of Pepsi Max Vanilla in a way that was big and bold, and we think bringing together four of the country's most eminent food and drink talent is a fantastic way to do this.

'Launching The Vanilla Kitchen in Sydney is a proud moment, as we seek to deliver new flavour experiences for our consumers."
