Tom Ford presents his new fragrance inspired by the mystery and luxury of the Middle East. Evoking the untamed beauty of the Arabian peninsula, Sahara Noir is Tom Ford's ode to the enchanting power of one of that land's most treasured ingredients: Frankincense, a precious desert resin.

Tom Ford says, "Sahara Noir is rich and exotic; it wraps the balsamic, incense-touched notes of frankincense in gold and honey-coloured light." The Fragrance

Sahara Noir is an Oriental Woody fragrance crafted around a heart of frankincense, an ingredient that has been used for millennia in ceremony, offered as a gift of devotion, and worn to enhance beauty. Its balsamic, resinous aroma transports the imagination to far-off lands and evokes a hypnotizing mood of mystery and reverence.

Spirited notes of cistus essence Orpur® and bitter orange open the fragrance. (The word "Orpur" denotes a natural ingredient of exceptional quality and purity.) Jordanian calamus"an unusual, oasis sweet grass"and Levantine cypress, famed for growing in the gardens of the 1001 Arabian Nights, lend a fresh yet sweet richness.

The heart of frankincense essence Orpur® is accented by delicate cinnamon from Laos, cool papyrus extract, Egyptian jasmine templar and rose absolute from Morocco. A beeswax extraction from Burma lends body and a supple, honeyed-animalic richness.

The dry down is amber-laced and warm. It is formed by a special blend of two facets of labdanum"labdanum absolute and a uniquely rich natural fraction of labdanum known as ambreinol"with rich benzoin from Laos and vanilla bean from Madagascar. Lebanese cedar, frankincense resin, agarwood and Peru balsam add luxurious substance and lasting presence.

Sahara Noir is presented in a golden version of the iconic Tom Ford Signature fragrance bottle, made of metalized glass and finished with a golden name plaque. The Sahara Noir bottle is packaged in a gold, fluted carton.
