Interview with Victor Holder
Victor Holder was born in Venezuela, based in Australia since 1999 and has worked in the video and motion graphics and graphic design field for the last 10 years.
His extend software skills are After effect, Final Cut, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Basic 3D as well as camera for film or video.
Over the years he has directed and produced a number of visual arts. Projects in a range of mediums, including paint, music clips, video mixing performances and short films screened mostly on international films festivals, some Station TVs around the world and several films websites.
His work has taken him as far as, USA, Australia, Europe, Cambodia, Central and South America and Malaysia.
One of Victor's career highlights was when he was part of the team for an educative eco-reality TV production called Planet Action, as visual environmental artist , this series was produced by Animal Planet, the World Wildlife Foundation, and Granada Media UK. Victor worked in partnership internationally for The Feature Project an environmentalist and human values project of Earth Chater base in Germany, Holand and New York.
Victor has also been involved in the creation of branding for a range of well-known television stations and programs, including, Channel 9 (AUS), Warner Channel Latin America; E! Entertainment TV Network (USA); BBC-People and Art Channel; HBO Latin America Group; and Discovery Kids Channel Latin America.
He attained international recognition in short films and motion graphics through his work in the field of art and broadcast production.
Awards in motion graphics, short films, and animation include: peoples' choice for animation 's-crash' in The Spring Festival, Melbourne 2002; Gold, Silver and Bronze medals for 'Vida', 'Gente' and 'Einstein Rap' at the 20th BDA International Design Awards in USA 1998; best video at the Lorth Prince Film Festival, Scotland 1995 and best special effects at the 1994 Viart Awards, Venezuela for 'On-Off'.

Interview with Victor Holder
You are a Visual & Motion Graphic Artist, can you please explain what that means?
Victor Holder: I'm an eclectic visual artist, a mix of many things on the visual world, I have done a variety of different of visual art projects, painting , performances, dancing , acting, video art installation , video mixing, sculpture , short-films, animation and motion graphics so . For the commercial world I'm a motion-graphic artist and a director and for the art work I'm visual artist.
Do you have a number one favourite film that you produced?
Victor Holder: Lately, I love the opening I did for The Earth Charter the Feather Project a job for Germany and New York organisation, is a job but I had total creative freedom and my spiritual, environmental and artistic concept 100 percent in it

Who inspired you to originally begin in the filmmaking industry?
Victor Holder: I think the inspiration came from watching a lots of movies all the time, and also watching the Oscar ceremonies all the time with all my family in Venezuela and we use to make a party of it, I guess also from my father and my mother who are such funnies and genius characters like in a movie.
What inspires you to create amazing short films?
Victor Holder: Well thank you first for considering my films amazing and indeed I ask my self the same, and the answer is: "it is just a force and an addiction which can drive me mad and I just have to do it and let out ideas, otherwise, I will be taken to the mad house, I don't make it happens."
You have travelled worldwide, with your films; do you have a favourite place to work?
Victor Holder: Melbourne, the best place on Earth, no kidding.
What do you like most about creating music videos?
Victor Holder: The editing and when I add things just as an experiment and works perfectly magically.
How do you use the artist and their music to motivate a fantastic music video?
Victor Holder: We all use each other, the music guides me, the artist inspirited me and I inspirer the artist when we talk about ideas, we collaborated together and the muse arrives and caboom bualah.
How does it feel to be rewarded with awards to recognise fantastic filmmaking?
Victor Holder: At the time it feels exciting and then pass the time it feel like was some else who receive it, but also it help on the CV.
You also work on environmental projects, why is this important to you?
Victor Holder: Is important because, I'm passionate about life and nature in general and I'm in love with life on Earth and she is a home, she is a physical body and I can't take her for granted, so I must help as much as I can to heal her and to do not much impact on her.... and thanks God I have receive the opportunity to work for it.
