Voyager

Playing as a part of Mental Health Week, Voyager is the fifth and final Q&A event in the 2016 series presented by Melbourne Playback Theatre Company.

With four previous sell out events across the year, Voyager takes a closer look at a personal and social journey that all of us tread; navigating the sometimes choppy waters of mental health takes time, awareness, and support.

Join our panel of industry experts - Philly (Hip Hop/Rap Artist and Winner of the 2015 National Indigenous Music Awards New Talent of the Year Award), Aref Ramazani (Photographer, Filmmaker, and Refugee Advocate) and Steph Darling (REACH Facilitator and Trainer) as they share their insights into finding calmer waters, building a support crew, and setting sail with confidence.

Audience members are invited to participate in this Q&A, which will then be followed by an interactive performance with Melbourne Playback Theatre's ensemble of professional actors, musicians, and MCs. MPTC have been captivating audiences for over 30 years with their unique form of improvised theatre; transforming shared, real-life events into powerful and engaging stories on the stage.
