Wildlife Adventures

Co-created and inspired by Binid, daughter of iconic Australia wildlife expert and conservationist, Steve Irwin, Bindi continues the passion and knowledge of the Irwin family in this exciting new series for kids.

Retailer feedback to the series has been extremely positive, and Random House Australia is thrilled to announce a huge initial print run of 100,000 copies of the first books.

Head of Children's Publishing, Lindsay Knight said: "From the moment our Random House Children's team first met Bindi we were stuck by her genuine passion for, and deep understanding of animals and the environment and her strong desire to spread the mantra of Kid Empowerment around the world. And as we share her strongly held beliefs and have long wanted to publish books with these key messages at their heart, we are delighted and proud to have Bindi's Wildlife Adventures on our list."

Filled with action and fun, the books celebrate the difference children can make in the world. From helping wildlife bushfire victims, to missing Komodo dragons in Singapore, green-winged macaws at the zoo and horse-riding and hunters in South Africa, this delightful series honours the Irwin family's lifelong dedication to conservation.

Bindi says, "I love to read- so I thought that these books might be another way to share with kids my love for wildlife! Every kid can make a difference, and I hope that these books get all kids excited about changing our world!"

Bindi is a role model for children from many different countries and is highly motivated to continue her father's work. "I don't want Daddy's passion to ever end," Bindi says. "I want to help endangered wildlife just like he did."

Inspirational, education and full of adventure, the Bindi Wildlife Adventures series will be an enduring addition to Australian children's literature.
