Uncover your creativity this winter with Etsy and Art Series

Etsy.com, the marketplace for unique, vintage and handmade goods, has partnered with Art Series Hotel Group to help uncover Australia's creativity this winter, with a month of hands-on events in the comfort of the art inspired hotels.

Talented local Etsy makers will host workshops at Art Series' world-class hotels around the country from 24 June to 9 July.

From the art of weaving in the bold colours of The Cullen (Melbourne) to the intricacies of embroidery in the whimsical surrounds at The Blackman (Melbourne) and the style of typography in the bright lyricism of The Watson (Adelaide), visitors will get the chance to learn new creative skills and connect with talented local makers in the beauty of Art Series' art-imbued spaces.

Visitors can turn their workshops into a creative weekend escape with Art Series Hotel Group's special accommodation and workshop packages which include overnight accommodation in art inspired luxury, a $20 Etsy gift card and mini gift bag.

The winter creativity will also take over Art Series Hotels' foyer spaces throughout June with communal weave installations for guests and visitors to get creative with.

Etsy seller and embroidery artist Madi Astolfi (unpicking.etsy.com), who will be leading workshops at the The Blackman in Melbourne as part of celebrations, said the workshop series provided the perfect opportunity to learn new skills, connect with people who have the same creative interests, meet influential makers and have fun.
