Border Collies and their owners are being invited to -go pink' and take part in a World Record Attempt at Sydney's Castle Hill Showground on 2 April, in support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Up to 1,000 Border Collies are expected to travel from around Australia to take part in the event, which has been organised by celebrity vet Dr Katrina Warren and supported by PAW by Blackmores. The event also includes performances by the amazing Wonderdogs.
'We believe this is the first time dogs have been a part of such a large-scale breast cancer campaign," Dr Katrina said.
'Pets are a great comfort to anyone going through treatment so this is a perfect way to create awareness."
All canine participants who register on the day will receive a Pink Bandana while owners are being asked to wear pink clothing.
PAW by Blackmores is proud to be a sponsor of Border Collie Day, and will provide a free showbag full of dog goodies to all participants in the World Record Attempt Border Collie conga line.
PAW will also be hosting a stall at the event, with 30% off all items plus a free blanket for your companion, with all proceeds made on the day going to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Senior Border Collies in attendance will also pose for a photo on the day for the PAW Golden Oldies to celebrate longevity and good health in your dog's later years.
