Something is rotten in the state of Denmark. Appropriation tells the imagined story of Fortinbras, a rash hothead who learns from his politically gifted wife when to wield a sword and when to weave a story. Raw, poetic and darkly funny, Appropriation is a surgical assault on how we use stories to establish power and gain prestige.

Appropriation stars William Bartolo (The Crucible), Damien Carr (Decadence) , Tara Clark (Two Peas) , Clay Crighton ( Exit The King) , Alex Daly (Deadly Women) , Marcella Franco (Twelfth Night), Sonya Kerr (August: Osage County) , Angus Mills ( Fool For Love) , Nicholas O'Regan (Much Del 'arte About Nothing) , Alex Rowe (Wentworth) , Sha nnon Ryan ( WAAPA Shakespeare Award 2018 ) and Asalemo Tofete ( Pop-up Globe ).

This brand new production is written by Paul Gilchrist, directed by Chris Huntly-Turner ( Bar'd Work: The Shakesbeer Sessions) , and produced by Natalie Lines , Penny Lemon, Shelley Casey and Jay Wilson .
