This April, the Sydney Opera House will present a wide range of stories for the whole family to explore. Great adventures await from the streets of our bustling big cities, the wilds of the Australian bush and from the mysterious depths of our oceans. Basketball, bike riding and breakdancing will be spun into the jaw-dropping urban circus show 360 ALLSTARS while beloved picture books Possum Magic and There's a Sea in My Bedroom are brought to life in charming page-to-stage adaptions.

360 ALLSTARS is spinning into the Studio from April 13-28. Get up close to phenomenal physical performances where street meets elite, this multitalented show boasts a stellar international cast including two-time World Champion BMX Flatlander, world-class break-dancers, a hugely talented basketball freestyler and a World Record-breaking cyr wheel (giant hoop) artist.

The world premiere of Mem Fox's beloved story book Possum Magic is leaping off the page and onto the Playhouse stage from April 15-28. For more than 30 years, the story of Grandma Poss and Hush has enchanted families at story time; now little possums can join the magical adventure as Grandma Poss "makes wombats blue, kookaburras pink, dingoes smile and emus shrink."

Creative Play takes yet another new form these April school holidays as Lego literally comes to life. Performers dressed head to toe in Lego suits will roam the Western Foyers as living models. Lilliputian Lego builders will be able to create a living Lego masterpiece by sculpting straight onto the human form.

The Junior Adventure Tour is the perfect holiday outing for pint-sized performers and curious kids who have ever wondered what's underneath the Opera House's white sails. The jam-packed, hour-long tour is tailored for young adventurers with interactive games, fun facts and theatrical dress ups – guaranteed to inspire, educate and exhaust them. Afterwards, families can relax by the Harbour with a Junior Lunch at Opera Bar or book a Junior Day Pack for an unforgettable day out including a Junior Adventure Tour with souvenir photo, Junior Lunch and a ticket to the dazzling 360 ALLSTARS show.

The adventure continues beyond the school holidays with Margaret Wild's children's classic There's A Sea in my Bedroom. Brilliant musicians from the Australian Chamber Orchestra will serenade little ones with the song of the ocean from May 9-20 in the Utzon Room.
