New FOX show "Ultimate Tag" stars World Cross Fit Champion Brooke Ence in the highly anticipated summer competition show premiering May 20th @ 9pm. Brooke shares her unbelievable journey electing stem-cell treatment to recover from a career-threatening injury, and her at-home fitness tips to get through the quarantine. She is an international fitness icon with an Instagram following of more than 1.4 million, along with film credits including breakout roles in WONDER WOMEN, and JUSTICE LEAGUE.
FOX just released its first teaser trailer here for its new physical competition series "Ultimate Tag" set to premiere on May 20th. With all episodes shot, it is one of the few non-scripted summer shows that hasn't been disrupted by the coronavirus pandemic. Hosted by NFL players J.J., T.J. and Derek Watt, the competition is an adrenaline-fueled take on the classic playground game. Competitors must vault, dodge, tumble and dive their way through several different three-dimensional courses. All the while, the contestants will be chased by resident taggers Brooke Ence and friends.
The road that led Brooke to Hollywood and to become one of the most respected CrossFit stars wasn't easy. After competing in the CrossFit arena since 2015, she suffered significant wear and tear on her shoulders in 2017. Doctors recommended a major surgery that would take her away from CrossFit competitions, but she chose instead an investigational treatment -- injections of stem cells. Now, after a few treatments and 3 years later, Brooke is back to intense training and is ready to not only take on competitors on FOX but to make her first appearance to a national CrossFit competition in 5 years. Referring to herself as the "professional underdog," Brooke is taking in the small moments during her rigorous training program. Being able to see the people that marvel at her abilities once the closures and shutdowns are lifted rather than the place she would finish has put her future in fitness back into perspective.
With millions affected by the closures of gyms seeking to maintain the same level of motivation to stay fit, Brooke encourages you to keep up the intensity while on self-quarantine via her Naked Training Program. She offers workout routines, along with personal plans to keep you active during this time. For more information, please visit www.brookeence.com and her Instagram at www.instagram.com/brookeence/.
