Disco Montego feat. Katie Underwood

Former Popstar and one-time fifth member of Bardot, Katie Underwood has joined forces with Australian dance-music collective Disco Montego for the release of their new single Beautiful which is currently the most-added song on radio.

The single, a groove-heavy slice of European-flavoured dance pop, was written by Disco Montego in collaboration with Katie and is the singer's first musical release since leaving Bardot in 2001 to pursue a solo career.

The disparate and ever-evolving collective of DJ's, producers, songwriters and performers which make up dance outfit Disco Montego have a variety of different interests, musical passions and skills - but the group is currently united in their praise for the previously largely untapped talents of their latest collaborator.

"The great thing about Beautiful is that it really shows off a different side to Katie that people wouldn't have heard before," says Disco Montego's DJ Vega.

"From the moment we got together she was great. She came back to us with these fantastic verses she'd written which totally fitted with what we'd already started for her. The end result is an amazing example of what Katie is really capable of as a solo artist."

Beautiful is the latest release from Disco Montego whose debut, "We Got Love" featured the vocal talents of Australian pop-powerhouse duo Kaylan. The single, released in mid 2001, rocketed into the Top-10 ARIA Club Charts and earned a place in the Top 100 ARIA singles charts.
