Wasting no time in responding to the frenzied excitement generated by news of their impending All Your Love Australian Tour, Sydney electronic producers Flight Facilities have set the controls for the heart of the sun with the addition of several new shows and some high-flying support acts to the hugely anticipated run.
As new single All Your Love pushes towards four million Spotify streams, the tour is shaping up as one of the most successful stints by an Australian artist in 2018 with sold out signs being raised left, right and centre.
Eager fans have been treated to a preview of the upcoming show this August as the duo released footage of the track being performed live from their massive set at Groovin The Moo with Dustin Tebbutt.
Wollongong is the latest city to bring the sold-out love and hit capacity as dates are added in Sydney (third show at the Enmore), Melbourne (third show at the Forum) and Brisbane (second show at the Tivoli).
Other engagements in Newcastle, Adelaide, Perth and Gold Coast are also selling fast and the addition of textured electronic dreamscapes of The Kite String Tangle and the fearless Australian collective playing by their own rules Haiku Hands to various shows nationwide should only sweeten the deal.
Four years on from their bonanza debut album Down To Earth, Flight Facilities could be forgiven for taking some time off to put their feet up. Their signature tunes, Crave You and Claire De Lune became two of the most successful Australian dance works of a generation and the record found a permanent home at the pointy end of the charts.
Not wanting to rest on their laurels and feed the industry beast, the boys decided their next move was to buck the album trend and focus on releasing bespoke singles rather than long form projects.
Arty Boy, a smooth collaboration with Brisbane songstress Emma Louise, came first and proved beyond doubt that Flight Facilities had lost none of their Midas touch. Next cab off the rank was Stranded, an instant classic created with an international dream team consisting of Broods, Reggie Watts and Saro.
Newest single All Your Love will provide the perfect name and soundtrack to this latest Australian victory lap. Featuring rising vocal talent Dustin Tebbut, it somehow manages to fold everything great about Flight Facilities into 4 and a half minutes of glacially building brilliance.
