FROST is a guitar driven pop rock band that was formed in 1997. They have an impressive CV having worked with many established musicians including Peter 'Reggie' Bowman (Southern Sons) and Jerry Speiser (Men At Work). Earlier this year, Frost contributed songs to the SBS project "Whatever Music" and they continue to play live gigs around town. This month we profile singer/songwriter Lee "Lemon" Trevena from FROST.

When did you realise that music was your passion? I loved watching and listening to KISS & The Beatles as a little kid. I guess it started back then.

List three musical influences: The Beatles, Radiohead, Guns & Roses.

How many years have you been performing? About 15 years.

Do you write your own material? Yes.

Have you found the Internet to be helpful/useful in fast-tracking your music career? Yes. It's great when you're not playing live because you're still getting some exposure.

In following your dream, who has helped you along the way? To mention only a few - Peter 'Reggie' Bowman (Southern Sons), Jerry Speiser (Men At Work), Brian Canham (Pseudo Echo) and of course my Mum!

Is there anything you wish you could change about the music industry? More live venues would be good and getting more money for performing live.

What advice can you offer to other budding young artists? Before signing anything, always seek legal advice from an entertainment lawyer. Especially if it's to do with publishing!

Where do you envision yourself in 5 years time? Having a lot of fun writing and performing my music!

Where can people purchase/listen to your music? At live gigs at the moment.
