Fresh cut of the New South Wales Central Coast comes Israel Cannan. At just 19 years of age he already has heads turning in the film and music community.
With his acoustic guitar by his side, Israel blends old-school rock with modern day contemporaries such as Ben Harper, Pete Murray and the Foo Fighters.
During his short career as a solo artist Israel has already shared the stage with some of the best acts in the country such as Mick Hart.
His music is being featured on large scale surfing and lifestyle films, and he is starring in the lead role in a Kennedy Miller production (Babe, Mad Max) title M.O.E., plus a guest role in Home & Away.
Surfing is also a big part of Israel's life and he's even sponsored by surf clothing company Rusty.
Israel Cannan is the face and sound of a new era in modern day acoustic rock; grab your taste from the EP "Heroes In Heaven" through ECP Records/MGM from October 18.
The first single "Figure Things Out" will be hitting the airwaves shortly and their will be a follow up single in the summer of 04/05.
