Nespresso launches two Limited Edition coffees made to be enjoyed over ice

Italian summers are known for their lazy days lying by the beach, indulgent icy refreshments and afternoon siestas. This January, Nespresso has taken inspiration from Italian beach culture to release two Limited Edition coffee varieties designed to be enjoyed over ice, Ispirazione Salentina and Ispirazione Shakerato.

"This summer, we wanted to bring Australians a taste of Italy by creating our own unique spin on two well-known Italian iced coffee recipes," comments Mitch Monaghan, Nespresso Coffee Ambassador. "Whether you're a fan of milder or more intense coffees, the Limited Edition Nespresso over Ice range provides a cool refreshing alternative with the same Nespresso quality that you know and love."

Ispirazione Shakerato
A full bodied, smooth iced coffee with cocoa aromas and long lasting roasted notes which is best enjoyed as a Ristretto (25ml) or Espresso (40ml). To create a classic Italian Caffè Shakerato, simply extract an Espresso into a cocktail shaker, add one sachet of Nespresso sugar and three ice cubes and serve shaken.

Ispirazione Salentina
A bold coffee with a smooth and round texture, revealing nutty aromas and roasted notes. From the region of Salento in Puglia, this coffee is best prepared with 5ml of cane sugar syrup, two ice cubes and a 50ml splash of milk, to make a traditional Caffè Alla Salentina.
