As Luna Park transforms into the ghoulishly delightful Luna Dark you'll be a sad spook to miss out on Melbourne's biggest costume party this Halloween!

This year the very full and very creepy Luna Dark program is set to greet visitors and wrap them up in a web of Halloween treats over two chilling days and four nights (26-28th and 31st October).

"Halloween is my favourite time of the year at Luna Park. It is great seeing everyone in costume, including our staff. We all get fully immersed in the fun of being scared, scaring visitors and revelling in the horrors of Halloween. And the Park is themed in its spookiest best, including our nine-metre long 'Giant Web' housing horrible spiders spectacularly suspended above the Park. "If you haven't been to Luna Dark, you have not done Halloween. I challenge Melburnians of all ages to visit us at Luna Park to celebrate Halloween and be scared 'Just for Fun'!"

So what's in store for the brave guests willing to plunge into the world of Luna Dark and experience the scariest two-days and four-nights in town?

The House of Horrors – For the fearless ONLY! Enter into the darkness to witness the zombie doctor inflict blood-curdling terror on his deathly patients.

Menacing monsters everywhere – Make sure to look around every corner and behind shoulders because you never know when a Luna zombie, ghostly ghoul or creepy cadaver will reach and grab you! Fresh from the local tombstones in the area, this terrifying troupe will not stop until they sniff you out.

Freaky face painting –Turn the kiddies into real life goblins or ghosts during the day at the 'Freaky Faces' face painting parlour, or for the big kids among you, the talented face painters will also be making adult guests over with bloodcurdling themes.

Wizz Fizz is back – The kids are sure to get screaming with delight once they get stuck into playing the Wizz Fizz 'Monster Bash' game in the Luna Games Hut. With plenty of sherbet treats to be won, the young spooksters are bound to be fizzing with energy all ready to meet the Wizz Fizz Monsters who will be monstering around the Park on Saturday and Sunday afternoons (1 to 4pm). And for those who get thirsty for a spidery drink, there will be a special zone set-up to make the best tasting 'Spooky Spiders' on the planet.

Fangtastic photo studio presented by Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween – Gather all of your mates and step inside the 'Haunted Halloween' photo booth. Grab a prop or two; pose in front of Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween-themed backdrops and get your freakiest poses on. All guests get a pic souvenir and are entered into the best-dressed competition for a chance to win cash prizes as well as 20 consolation prize packs containing movie merchandise.

Eerie tunes by The Strays – Yes they are back to belt out the very best in thrilling hits to get your feet stomping and shivers rolling up and down your spine all at the same time! Find The Strays rocking out in The Famous Spiegeltent alongside a licensed bar located within the Park's grounds.
