Dive Into Luna Park These Summer School Holidays

Splashingly Fun Time

The countdown to school holidays is officially on and if you're looking to keep cool this summer then make sure Luna Park is on your bucket-list!

From Saturday 23rd December 2017 until Monday 29th January 2018 inclusive, Melbourne's most loved amusement park is inviting you to get wet this summer and jump aboard their brand new aquatic coaster for all the family to enjoy.

In time for Luna Park's 105th summer season, the action-packed summer holidays will see the opening of Pirate's Revenge - open to thrill seekers who dare - featuring a whopping 16 metre slippery slope through plumes of refreshingly-cold gushing spray.

Get set to get wet as you hop on-board the floating log, but be warned, this one is only for the brave-hearted. Featuring life-sized pirates, an array of hungry crocodiles and a heart-stopping shark encounter, this ride is sure to be a thrill seeker's fanta-sea. After one adventure on Pirate's Revenge, you'll be hooked!

If that doesn't whet your appetite, or you prefer your thrills on dry land, try the newly reconstructed -first dip' of The Great Scenic Railway, as the train hurtles around the 967m track at speeds of 50-60km/h. The heritage-listed attraction is the world's oldest operating wooden roller coaster of its kind, turning 105 years old on 13th December.

Adding more sizzle to the summer school holidays, the Bouncing Beach Patrol will rove around the park in January, making sure the flags of fun are flying! Armed with daring drills, they'll come to your rescue if needed!

From Boxing Day, to celebrate the release of Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle Luna Park is giving visitors the chance to win some cool movie merchandise at the -Toss' carnival game – you have to get in fast as it's only while stock lasts!

An unlimited ride ticket will ensure you have endless fun all day long, spinning and zooming from ride to ride. Once you've had all the fun you can stomach for one day, top off your visit at one of the park's -cool zones' and grab a summery treat in the form of a frozen slushie, snow cone or scoop of ice-cream!

From 23rd December, Luna Park will be open every day of the holidays from 11am (excluding Christmas Day). Don't forget to upload your fun snaps and videos to Luna Live, Luna Park's new social media channel, using the #lunalive.
