MARY J BLIGE - No More Drama

No More Drama sees Mary J. Blige say goodbye to the blues and take hold of a better future.

Awesome moments on the album include "Steal Away" (featuring Pharrell Williams of the Neptunes, who produced the track), the title track (which references the theme from The Young & the Restless), and "Destiny." "PMS," is a track bound to become an anthem for young women/sisters world-wide!

Mary J. Blige's fifth studio triumph No More Drama, includes songs and production from such notables Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, Missy Elliot, Chucky Thompson, Swizz Beatz, Rockwilder, The Neptunes, Dr. Dre, Ron Lawrence, Kenny Flav, Dame Grease and Mary. Special guests include Eve, Hakeem, Missy and Lenny Kravitz. No More Drama is a passionate and purposeful exploration of the heart, soul and body. Like her 1999 Grammy nominated, platinum plus smash Mary album, which drew upon Ms. Blige's renewed confidence and reinvigorated spirituality, No More Drama is both affirmation and declaration of intent. No More Drama is filled with slice of life truths and sizzling tracks that are both deeply personal and richly universal in scope.

Ask Mary what she wants No More Drama to convey and she thinks for a bit. "I'd like people to be entertained but I'd like them to hear what I'm saying, too. But if it doesn't grab you right away, cool. Just dance to it. Just feel it until you are ready to hear what I have to say .. and then what ever happens will happen."

MUSIC NEWS FLASH!

MARY J. BLIGE BACK ON TOP AS "FAMILY AFFAIR" HITS #1 ON BILLBOARD'S HOT 100 AND NATIONAL R&B CHARTS

MCA superstar Mary J. Blige is right back where she belongs: on top of the music world with her smash hit "Family Affair," which hit #1 on both Billboard's Hot 100 and National R&B charts this week. This marks the first number one single of Mary's career. The single, produced by Dr. Dre, is the first chart-topper off the Grammy-winning singer's latest platinum-certified album No More Drama, which debuted at #2 earlier this spring. Mary will launch a US tour next year.

Mary performed "Family Affair" at the Radio Music Awards in Las Vegas, held October 26, and also appeared the same night on Lifetime Channel's "Women Rock" performing her next single "No More Drama." The Lifetime Channel also recently aired a poignant "Intimate Portrait" on Mary J. Blige. No More Drama features such guest artists as Missy Elliott, Eve, and Lenny Kravitz. Other producers who worked on the album include Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Rockwilder, Chucky Thompson, The Neptunes and Swizz Beatz. Among Mary's other best-selling albums over the years are Mary, the #1 Share My World, and What's The 411?
