Origin Fields has added further international heavyweight artists, M.I.A., Denzel Curry, Chase & Status, Smokepurpp, DVSN, Tayla Parx, Australian DJ Fisher, and Disciple Round Table (Intekt, Mvrda and Chibs) to the already mammoth 2-day festival in Perth.

English songwriter, performer, producer and activist, M.I.A. began her career in 2002. Her most well-known song 'Paper Planes' was certified Gold in New Zealand, three times platinum in Canada & US, rated the seventh best-selling song by a British artist in the digital era and has become XL Recordings' second best- selling single to date.

M.I.A. has been nominated for an Academy Award, 3 Grammy Awards and a Mercury Prize. With many top charting Billboard songs, she was named one of the defining artists of the 2000s by Rolling Stone in its Best of the Decade in 2009 and was regarded as one the world's 100 most influential people by Time magazine in the same year. Esquire also ranked M.I.A. on its list of the 75 most influential people of the 21st century in 2010.

Fast-rising Florida hip hop artist Denzel Curry makes his triumphant return to Perth after topping charts with his track Ta13oo, reaching number 28 on the Billboard 200. Throughout Denzel's career, many respected rappers and singers have featured on his albums including J.K. The Reaper, Lil Ugly Mane, Mike G, Nell, Robb Bank$, Steven A. Clark, Yung Simmie, Juicy J, A$AP Ferg and Jay IDK.

Electronic duo Chase & Status formed in 2003 after meeting at University in Manchester. The English duo Saul Milton (Chase) and Will Kennard (Status), with collaborators MC – Rage and drummer Andy Gangadeen, have had four number one singles on the UK Dance chart and created tracks with many notable vocalists including Plan B, Liam Bailey, Delilah, Tinie Tempah, Sub Focus, Takura and Dizzee Rascal.

Their album 'No More Idols' debuted at number two on the UK Albums Chart and was certified Gold in the first week of sales by the British Photographic Industry. The duo's most recent album features collaborations with artists Craig David, Emeli Sande, Shy FX and Slaves. They have also produced numerous times for mega star Rihanna, produced Rita Ora's number 1 UK hit "R.I.P" and co-produced a track on Alexandra Burke's album 'Overcome'.

American rapper Smokepurpp initially found success on audio distribution platform SoundCloud in 2016 after his song 'Ski Mask' and 'Audi' went viral.

Starting his career as a producer, Omar Pineiro (Smokepurpp) became one of the most known figures of the SoundCloud rap movement due to his influence on artists such as Lil Pump who have since entered the mainstream music market. Earlier this year Smokepurpp released 'Do Not Distrub' which featured Murda Beatz, Lil Yachty and Offset (Migos).

Canadian R&B duo DVSN began gaining traction after their song 'With Me' was played on Apple's Beats 1 radio. In 2016 it was announced DVSN signed to Drake's OVO Sound record label, and have since featured on Drake's fourth studio album Views on the track titled 'Faithful'.

American singer Tayla Parx (Taylor Parks) has built an impressive song writing reputation contributing to albums by Ariana Grande, Khalid, Jennifer Lopez, BTS, Jason Derulo, Pentatonix, Mariah Carey, The Internet, Camila Cabello, Fifth Harmony and Chris Brown, featuring on Browns track 'Anyway'.

Tayla has worked with various producers/artists including Demi Lovato, Kenny 'Babyface' Edmonds, LeAnn Rimes, DJ Mustard, Christina Aguilera, Usher, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, and Meghan Trainor. Tayla also has multiple film and television credits, including roles in Gilmore Girls, Everybody Hates Chris, and Hairspray amongst many more.

Gold Coast native and former pro surfer turned DJ/Producer Paul Fisher gained notoriety with his 2017 track 'YA Kidding'. Fisher is one-half of the electronic music duo Cut Snake alongside friend and fellow former pro-surfer Leigh Sedley.

Dubstep DJs INFEKT, MVRDA and CHIBS from Record Label Disciple Round Table will also take the stage at Langley Park for Origin Fields.

Single day tickets are available for Origin Fields held in Langley Reserve on the 30th and 31st December.
