Nominated for three Latin Grammy Awards, this gorgeous and talented young Mexican singer has already sold 4 million albums worldwide. And the gal looks set to weave her magic spell on Australian audiences when she releases her first single
"Don't Say Goodbye" here on 22nd July.
The single has already enjoyed great success in the US and is continuing to climb the charts. "Don't Say Goodbye" is an infectious, hook-laden tune which showcases Paulina's obvious vocal talent. The single is also being released as a Spanish version.
"Don't Say Goodbye" features on Paulina's English-language debut album
"Border Girl" which is due to be released here later this year.
PAULINA'S STORY SO FAROver the course of the past two decades, Paulina has enjoyed success on a number of different platforms. As part of the biggest teen act in her homeland "Timbiriche" and as an actress on the big and small screens, making her the reigning golden girl when it comes to Spanish pop.
Born into an entertaining family; (her mother Susana Dosamantes is one of the most celebrated film stars) Paulina's exposure to her mother's trade made a huge impact on the budding artist at a tender age.
At aged seven, she began singing and dancing tuition, then enrolled at a prestigious performing arts school. This led to her being chosen to be part of the popular children's recording group "Timbiriche" where she remained for almost a decade. After leaving the group, Paulina released her solo debut "La Chica Dorada" which spawned three Number One singles and scored platinum sales. Acting stints in soapies and film work soon followed.
But music remains Paulina's first love and audiences worldwide will be able to get to know this young performer more intimately in the coming months as she unleashes her music on the rest of the world.
