Attention Victorian Songwriters!
Want to hone your songwriting skills with some of the music industry's best?
The Push's innovative and exciting free all ages songwriter's program, Push Songs, returns for Round 3, 2010.
Six successful applicants will have the opportunity take part in 3 x 1.5 hour, one-on-one song songwriting development sessions.
Participants will workshop and develop their initial song ideas and sketches with the program founder, Shopfront Songs director and renowned Melbourne songwriter Charles Jenkins. The remaining two sessions will involve the esteemed talents of other local songwriting luminaries; including Wally De Backer (Gotye, The Basics), Liz Stringer, Monique Brumby and Joel Silbersher.
The FREE program OPEN to ALL AGES seeks to pass on the skills and experiences of established Victorian songwriters. The program aims to produce and refine the ideas of the next generation by providing them an opportunity to network and showcase their material to the broader industry.
