River Session's 2010 will comprise of two stages, a Rock/Hip Hop main stage and a Dance stage. With the new venue the festival capacity will double from last year's event with Harrup Park being able to facilitate for approximately 5000 people with the proposed site set up. Being over the June long weekend it will also allow the opportunity for music fans from around the State to attend and not only enjoy the day but to also take the chance to see what Mackay and the Whitsunday's have to offer.

The 2010 Line-up includes The Birds of Tokyo, Bluejuice, Operator Please, Bertie Blackman, Drapht, Ash Grunwald, Phrase, Calling All Cars, The Jezabels, Van She Tech, Aston Shuffle, Yolanda Be Cool, Sampology, Shockone, Snob Scrilla (Sound System), Danny T, Habebe and The Surecut Kids.
