After touring nationally for most of March and April, Australia s first queen of country soul , Suzannah Espie and her band The Last Word will head to The Toff to celebrate the release of their second album First And Last Hotel.

Following on from the critically acclaimed debut A Few More Days, Suzannah and The Last Word are back with an album full of stunning songs that encompass the country soul blues hybrid that is Suzannah s own.

With the help of producer Charles Jenkins (Icecream Hands) and an impressive line up of guests including Jeff Lang, Chis Altman (The Vandas), Ian Collard (Collard Greens and Gravy), Sarah Caroll, Kerri Simpson and Li l Fi adding sublime harmonies; Suzannah Espie has delivered what is sure to be one of the finest albums of 2009.
